  • Entry into the Course

    It is preferred that the students have obtained a minimum of a School Certificate or equivalent. Students will need to be able to access and use a personal computer including internet connection, word processing and spreadsheet processing software, for example MS Word and Excel.

    Our student selection process is designed to ensure that you are enrolled in the qualification that best meets your needs. The selection criteria take into account various factors when deciding upon which students will be offered places in the program including:

    • The students’ needs and desired outcomes
    • The ability and commitment of the students to complete the course
    • Eligibility requirements listed in the applicable National Training Package
    • Students existing ability in the ACSF core skills, (learning, reading, writing, oral communication and numeracy)

    Students not meeting these requirements will be directed to more suitable qualifications or skill development programs.

  • Recommended Course Structure

    To attain the BSB50120 Diploma of Business, 12 units must be successfully completed comprising of five (5) core and seven (7) elective units.

What is Recognised Prior Learning?
Collaboration Learning recognises that some students have had previous experience and learning whether that be working in the industry or completion of a previous course of study. 

We are happy to discuss Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) with students. Each student requesting RPL will be interviewed and they should provide a portfolio of evidence to support their application and may be assessed on the job. On-the-job assessments can be conducted to assess current skills and knowledge.
What is a Unique Student Identifier (USI)?
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) number is a unique number that is allocated to students studying nationally recognised Vocational Educational Training (VET) in Australia. This is a government initiative that enables you to access all of your training records and results from one location allowing you to provide proof of qualification to any potential employer.
